Description
What had been a fairly clear sky was starting to gather some clouds to the north and west as sunset began outside the El Tovar Hotel on the south rim in Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona.. As the sun set, the canyon descended into darkness and most of the visitors around me left. A few others and I, however, noticed that the gathering clouds were starting to turn shades of pink of and red. Another fifteen minutes or so and those of us who remained were treated to this beautiful sunset sky.
