Description
Two litters of cubs were born by the African Lions at he National Zoo in Washington, DC, the first in January 2014 and second in March of that year. Judging by the size of all the cubs when I visited the zoo in August 2014, I'm guessing that the cub in this picture was from the second litter, making it about 5 months old at that time. Whatever the exact age, there is no doubt that the cub looks like a youngster looking for trouble.
