Description
Moraine Lake is a glacially-fed lake in Banff National Park, just outside the Village of Lake Louise, Alberta, Canada. I took this picture at 10:00 pm in the second week of June 2014. Because spring came late to the Canadian Rockies this year, the lake was still very shallow as the glacial runoff had yet to fill it. This view is known as the Valley of the Ten Peaks.
