Description
Peyto Lake is a glacial-fed lake just north of Lake Louise off the Icefields Parkway in Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada. It is renown for its beautiful turquoise color, caused by glacial rock flour that flows into the lake. Even though still partially frozen in early June, 2014, the lake's color is still unmistakable and stunning.
