Description

The Covid-19 pandemic forced me away from my usual travel photography and had to explore shooting possibilities closer to home. Discovering macro photography has been an unexpected joy. Looking for something small to photograph, I rummaged through my drawers and found an unused travel sewing kit. I took four of the small and colorful spools of thread, put them on black sparkle paper and lit it from behind. Here is the result.
