Artist's Description
Highland cows are Scotland icons. Often called hairy coos, the breed has a heritage stretching back to the days of the clans. They originated in the Highlands and Outer Hebrides islands and are mainly raised for beef. Their distinguishing features are their long horns and long, wavy, woolly coats.
I saw these cows in a pasture near Glencoe, in the Scottish highlands. There were about 7 or 8 eight of them near the fence by the road, and they seemed very gentle and friendly, though I had no interest in testing that theory. They did wander close to the fence and seemed to happily pose for some photos.
I used a Fuji XT-2 camera for this photo, and processed it in Luminar 3. If you like photo processing and the look of my photos, you can try Luminar by copying and pasting this link: https://macphun.evyy.net/mvgmq

Being alone in a new city, I would take my camera wherever I went, and I was soon making my own prints in...
