And if you're curious, what's the difference between whisky and whiskey? Whisky refers to Scottish, Canadian, or Japanese grain spirits, while whiskey refers to grain spirits distilled in Ireland and the United States. The plurals are also different with whisky becoming whiskies, and whiskey becoming whiskeys. Of course, this is according to the internet, so it must be true. Haha.
I guess I've had an off-and-on love affair with photography my whole life. My father was always taking pictures and movies when I was a kid growing up on Long Island, NY in the 1950s-60s, and he gave me my own Kodak Brownie camera when I was around 6 years old. I remember using it to take pictures of family events and a trip to Washington DC, back in 1958. I still have some of the pictures ....... somewhere. Photography moved to the back burner during high school, college, and law school, but I picked it up again after I graduated law school in 1979, moved to Washington DC, and began my legal career with the federal government.
