Description
This snow monkey seemed quite content to just sit calmly and look at me as I took its picture in a light snow at the Jigokudani Yaen-Koen, the Snow Monkey Park in the Nagano prefecture of Japan. The park is an area of natural hot springs with a man-made pool where Japanese Macaque monkeys take refuge from the winter cold by bathing in the warm water.
