Description
Three tombstones marking graves on a small hillside in the cemetery grounds of Cill Chriosd, a former parish church of Strath, on the Isle of Skye in Scotland. The church and cemetery location is believed to have a heritage of Christian worship dating back to the 7th century, but most graves are from the 18th and 19th centuries and are connected to the MacKinnon Clan.
The church and cemetery are surrounded by a metal fence with an entry gate that has a sign asking that the gate be kept closed to keep the sheep out. Despite being closed when I got there, sheep were grazing throughout the grounds, but they managed to stay out of this photo for me. I also appreciated the fog and moody clouds on the mountainside behind these graves to enhance the solemnity of the grounds.
I took this photo with a Fuji XT-2 camera and processed it in Luminar 3. If you like photo processing and the look of my photos, you can try Luminar through this link: https://macphun.evyy.net/mvgmq
