Artist's Description

The Washington National Cathedral, in Washington, DC, is the sixth largest cathedral in the world. It has gothic architecture and is shaped like a cross. This photo shows the crossing of the church, where the two transept arms meet the long nave forming a cross, along with some of the cathedral's many stained glass windows, ribbed vaulting, flying buttresses, rows of seats, and the Canterbury Pulpit. .
