Description
A high contrast, black and white, photograph of balconies on three floors at the Watergate Complex in Washington, DC.
The Watergate Complex is a group of five buildings next to the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in the Foggy Bottom neighborhood of Washington, D.C., in the United States. The buildings include a hotel, offices, and apartments, and are, of course, most famous for the 1972 break-in and burglary of the headquarters of the Democratic National Committee, then located on the sixth floor of the Watergate Hotel and Office Building, which ultimately led to the resignation of President Richard Nixon.
