Description
I was having a picnic along a winding mountain road in the highlands near Glencoe, Scotland, when I looked up to my left and saw a constantly changing scene of light and shadow on a high valley between two mountain peaks, as the wind moved the clouds on a partly sunny day. A stream that would become a waterfall thousands of feet below cut through that high valley and I realized that, while I have taken hundreds of pictures of the bottoms of waterfalls, I couldn't remember a chance to photograph the very start of one. After I took the shot, I showed it to a friend who was traveling with me and she asked if it was inspired by Georgia O'Keefe, and we both laughed.
I used a Fuji XT-2 camera for this photo, and processed it in Luminar 3. If you like photo processing and the look of my photos, you can try Luminar by copying and pasting this link: https://macphun.evyy.net/mvgmq
