Artist's Description
I learned a few stay-at-home photography fun projects to get me involved in photography during the 2020 Coronavirus Pandemic, which precluded my usual travel photography. One project was to mix together water and dishwashing liquid, put the mixture in a small bowl, use a straw to blow some bubbles and then start taking pictures with a macro lens. It's great macro photography fun made even better by putting some glitter paper behind the bubbles. At least, that's what I did for this photo.

I guess I've had an off-and-on love affair with photography my whole life. My father was always taking pictures and movies when I was a kid growing up on Long Island, NY in the 1950s-60s, and he gave me my own Kodak Brownie camera when I was around 6 years old. I remember using it to take pictures of family events and a trip to Washington DC, back in 1958. I still have some of the pictures ....... somewhere. Photography moved to the back burner during high school, college, and law school, but I picked it up again after I graduated law school in 1979, moved to Washington DC, and began my legal career with the federal government.
