Description
A backlit large lotus plant leaf at the Kenilworth Park & Aquatic Gardens, in Washington, DC, in September during the coronavirus pandemic of 2020. The park is a National Park Service site in the northeast corner of Washington, near the Maryland state border and the banks of the Anacostia River. The park preserves many rare waterlilies and lotuses in cultivated ponds near the river.
