The Old Post Office Pavilion, also known as Old Post Office and Clock Tower is a historic building located on Pennsylvania Avenue in downtown Washington, D.C. Completed in 1899, it was used as the city's main post office until 1914, and then used primarily as an office building afterward. It was nearly torn down several times and has most recently been leased to The Trump Organization, which plans to develop the property into a luxury hotel to be named Trump International Hotel Washington, D.C.
I guess I've had an off-and-on love affair with photography my whole life. My father was always taking pictures and movies when I was a kid growing up on Long Island, NY in the 1950s-60s, and he gave me my own Kodak Brownie camera when I was around 6 years old. I remember using it to take pictures of family events and a trip to Washington DC, back in 1958. I still have some of the pictures ....... somewhere. Photography moved to the back burner during high school, college, and law school, but I picked it up again after I graduated law school in 1979, moved to Washington DC, and began my legal career with the federal government.
