Looking over a field of flowers and Loch Laich to Castle Stalker. The Castle is about halfway between Glencoe and Oban in the highlands of Scotland. It sits on a tidal islet on Loch Laich, and it is believed that the castle, in its present form, dates to the 1440's. If the castle looks familiar to the Monty Python fans, it's because it appeared in some of the scenes in Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
I guess I've had an off-and-on love affair with photography my whole life. My father was always taking pictures and movies when I was a kid growing up on Long Island, NY in the 1950s-60s, and he gave me my own Kodak Brownie camera when I was around 6 years old. I remember using it to take pictures of family events and a trip to Washington DC, back in 1958. I still have some of the pictures ....... somewhere. Photography moved to the back burner during high school, college, and law school, but I picked it up again after I graduated law school in 1979, moved to Washington DC, and began my legal career with the federal government.
