Egg Rock Light is a lighthouse on Frenchman Bay, Maine, not far from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. It was established in 1875, and is unusual because the brick light tower is in the middle of the white wood frame keeper's house. Egg Rock Light was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as Egg Rock Light Station.
I guess I've had an off-and-on love affair with photography my whole life. My father was always taking pictures and movies when I was a kid growing up on Long Island, NY in the 1950s-60s, and he gave me my own Kodak Brownie camera when I was around 6 years old. I remember using it to take pictures of family events and a trip to Washington DC, back in 1958. I still have some of the pictures ....... somewhere. Photography moved to the back burner during high school, college, and law school, but I picked it up again after I graduated law school in 1979, moved to Washington DC, and began my legal career with the federal government.
