Description
A fence-lined path through spring wildflowers leading to a single tree, on the grounds of the temple ruins of Segesta, in Sicily, Italy. Segesta was one of the major cities of the Elymians, one of the three indigenous peoples of Sicily. It is located in the northwestern part of Sicily, near the modern commune of Calatafimi-Segesta in the province of Trapani. The orange, calendula flowers bloom throughout Sicily in the springtime.
