Three windows with unique reflections behind a railing and on a tiled wall above a souvenir shop in Sintra, a resort town in the foothills of Portugal’s Sintra Mountains, near the capital, Lisbon. These large windows, railing, and tiling are very typical of the architecture throughout Portugal.
I guess I've had an off-and-on love affair with photography my whole life. My father was always taking pictures and movies when I was a kid growing up on Long Island, NY in the 1950s-60s, and he gave me my own Kodak Brownie camera when I was around 6 years old. I remember using it to take pictures of family events and a trip to Washington DC, back in 1958. I still have some of the pictures ....... somewhere. Photography moved to the back burner during high school, college, and law school, but I picked it up again after I graduated law school in 1979, moved to Washington DC, and began my legal career with the federal government.
