Description
It would seem like a pretty sweet life -- daily grooming in a heated pool in a light snow in winter. If you like carefully, however, you can see that life as a wild snow monkey also has some tough times as the monkey in the foreground apparently broke a finger at some point his its life. Visiting the Jigokudani Yaen-Koen, the Snow Monkey Park, in the Nagano prefecture of Japan was certainly a sweet time in my life, though. The park is an area of natural hot springs with a man-made pool where Japanese Macaque monkeys take refuge from the winter cold by bathing in the warm water.
