Description
Looking down at the corner of 10th Avenue and West 18th Street in the Chelsea neighborhood in New York City, with a mural of Mother Teresa and Mahatma Gandhi painted above a local market, as seen from the High Line.
Chelsea is a neighborhood on the West Side of Manhattan whose boundaries are roughly 14th Street to the south, the Hudson River and West Street to the west, Sixth Avenue to the east, and its northern boundary described as near the upper 20s[or 34th Street. It is the home of the High Line, an elevated park, greenway, and rail trail created on a former New York Central Railroad spur. The mural above the market was painted by Brazilian artist Eduardo Kobra, and it pays tribute to Mother Teresa's and Mahatma Gandhi's great humanitarian achievements.
