Description
A city with both old and more modern buildings sits above the trees from an oasis in a gorge and below an arid mountain hillside in the Dades Gorge region of Morocco, between Tinghir and Skoura. The drive through this area was stunningly beautiful, as it passed through mountains and gorges and the occasional green oasis with date trees and farm fields contrasted with the surrounding brown mountains and pockets of towns and cities, new and old.
