Description
Puppets hanging in a puppet store in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic.
Prague, as well as other parts of the Czech Republic, have a long history of marionette puppet theatre entertainment that can be traced back into the early part of the Middle Ages. The puppets are traditionally hand-carved from wood or made from plaster, and they represent all kinds of characters from devils, witches and wizards to clowns, kings and princesses.
