Description

It was already December in 2021, but it still felt very much like autumn in Washington, DC. Temperatures were mild and though some leaves had fallen, there were still many on the trees, so most people had not yet finally raked their yards or cleaned their steps to their homes. I was out walking with my camera when I saw this wart-covered pumpkin on a front stoop of a townhouse, surrounded by fallen ginkgo leaves. I loved the autumn look and the way they stood out against the dark painted brick background.
